Michelle Sullivan, guest speaker for 2018 Heart of Illinois United Way Kickoff Breakfast Friday, September 7 at the Peoria Civic Center 7-9am.Please join us as we kickoff our 2018 Campaign on Friday, September 7 at the Peoria Civic Center from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.  The breakfast includes a presentation by 2018 Campaign Chairs Paul and Colleen DiGiallonardo, recognition of 2018 Pacesetters, and guest speaker, Michele L. Sullivan.

About Michele Sullivan

Michele Sullivan, Caterpillar’s Director of Corporate Social Innovation and President of the Caterpillar Foundation, has held various globally influential leadership positions at Caterpillar during her career. Under Sullivan, the Caterpillar Foundation strategically places human need first, not as an afterthought of profit. Michele is well known for her global expertise and sustainable and collaborative approach to philanthropic investing.

At TEDWomen 2016, Sullivan became the first Caterpillar Inc. employee to present a TED talk. In her talk, she speaks candidly about the challenges she has overcome in life, highlighting the importance of acceptance and helping others succeed in the face of their unique challenges.

The Heart of Illinois United Way will officially kickoff our 2018 campaign with a breakfast featuring guest speaker Michele Sullivan, Caterpillar’s Director of Corporate Social Innovation and President of the Caterpillar Foundation.  Following the breakfast, volunteers are invited to participate in our Day of Caring featuring numerous community-wide volunteer opportunities and a food drive.
