The 2011 Heart of Illinois United Way Day of Caring Food Drive will be Friday, September 9 and we need your help!
Demand at area food pantries continues to rise with most pantries experiencing a more than 30 percent increase compared to two years ago. People throughout central Illinois need your help.
The Heart of Illinois United Way is once again asking area companies and organizations to hold food drives within the two weeks prior to September 9. The food drive offers a wonderful opportunity for team building, so we encourage you to form a team and get involved!
Families and individuals are invited to help, too! Just drop off your food donations here:
Nonperishable food and personal care products – for a list of ideas, click on "What to Collect" below.

If you have already signed-up for the drive, you’ll receive a letter from us with details on your drop-off and when to pick-up your team t-shirts, etc. If you’d like to sign-up a food drive team, download the PDF form here.
