Poverty Simulation by Heart of Illinois United Way

Poverty simulations are designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live as a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. It is a simulation, not a game. The object is to sensitize participants to the realities faced by low-income individuals and families.

- Parking is available on the street and in UnityPoint Health's adjacent parking lot

From silent auctions for designer purses to great raffle prizes, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy great fashion and a night out. Proceeds benefit education and health programs focused on women and children.
